See the river in a totally different way! We’re SUPing and SNORKELING on the James River!

The Wild Way will be exploring a section of the James River from above AND from below! We’ll be stand-up paddleboarding (SUPing) approximately 4 miles from Gala to Craig’s Creek, while snorkeling and learning about the flora and fauna underneath our rivers’ waters. We’ll even have a team of biologists on-site to teach us about local fish, macroinvertebrates, and other animals.

No paddling experience is necessary, but we do require that participants know how to tread water. This event is open to girls ages 9 to 14.

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation is provided to this event. We will meet at Wasena Park at 9am and return by 3:30pm.

PAYMENT: The Wild Way’s activities are offered on a sliding scale fee. After filling out the application below, you will be directed to a site where you can make your preferred contribution amount. Our services are FREE to families in need. Please don’t hesitate to request a fee waiver.
