Michelle Davis, Secretary
Michelle Davis is a Roanoke native and graduate of the University of Michigan. After college, she lived in New York and Chicago, where she fell in love with cycling, specifically competitive track cycling and triathlon. In 2008, Michelle moved back to Roanoke, co-owning a small business in the outdoor industry and working for a local tech startup. For six years, Michelle served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Boys and Girls Clubs of SWVA, a youth development organization that serves over 1,000 youth each year in 12 locations throughout our region. She is now the Director of Government Relations for the national organization, Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Michelle has an 8 year old daughter named Elsa. Together with her partner, Adam, her family enjoys being active in the community, from outdoor fitness and fun to volunteering. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Freedom First Credit Union Board of Directors, serves on several committees and commissions for the City of Roanoke, and serves on the Virginia Recreational Facilities Authority overseeing Explore Park. Michelle also ended a 4.5 year term of office as an elected member of Roanoke City Council in 2020.
