Learn ways to feel safe and CONFIDENT in the outdoors and in your community.

The Wild Way believes that women should feel empowered and safe while outside, and basic self-defense helps girls build the confidence necessary to continue their outdoor interests into adulthood. . We’re working with Summit Jiu-Jitsu Academy to hold an “Intro to Jiu-Jitsu” workshop that will focus on situational awareness and self-defense in the outdoors and everywhere else. The Wild Way is enrolling girls ages 9 to 14 in this event.

TRANSPORTATION: Please note that transportation for this event will NOT be provided. You will be responsible for dropping off and picking up your child. More details on drop-off and pick-up will be provided in a follow-up email.

If your child would like to join us but transportation is a barrier to her participation, please email us at info@thewildway.org so we can try to find a solution.

PAYMENT: The Wild Way’s activities are offered on a sliding scale fee. After filling out the application below, you will be directed to a site where you can make your preferred contribution amount. Our services are FREE to families in need. Please don’t hesitate to request a fee waiver.
